Had a dream last night that someone took one of my black dress shoes and threw it in the lake, so I had to go to the shoe store and ask if I could buy just the left shoe only. (Can you do this?) Not sure what that means.

I looked in my dream books (yes, I have dream books. Don’t laugh at me) and it said to dream of losing a shoe indicates that you are wasting your efforts in an unproductive activity. A dream featuring the left side of anything is telling you not to be discouraged by a temporary setback. Buying from something from a store predicts petty financial problems.
I don’t know if that makes any sense to you. It seems a bit contradictory to me, but you never know.
I forgot the lake bit. Whoops. The interpretation of this dream depends on its various aspects, such as the condition of the water, the weather, etc., but as a general guide: A stormy lake predicts a failure which, if you refuse to let it depress you, will lead to an important benefit. To dream of a calm lake in good weather signifies smooth sailing on the sea of life. A moonlit lake in augurs a happy love life. A dream of traveling around a lake or observing one from the air is a sign of passive stagnation; try to find some new interests. To dream of wading into a lake indicates unnecessary anxieties; take life more calmly.
it just reminded me of going to the stereo store, and ALL the speakers are priced EACH. BUT, you can not, you may not, they will not sell you one! you must buy them by the pair! I argued briefly, cuz while I DO have compassion for the unfortunates who work at these places, I am always interested to see if they “get” the idiocy of such things (this guy, did not)
