Back from the beyond

I know, it’s another comedy host talking about the tragedy. Well, Jon Stewart is amazing, and what he said deserves to be heard. (via hit-or-miss) I said this before with Letterman, but Stewart’s real emotion and positivity are more useful to us now than hundreds of hours of news coverage.

Adam, thanks for the link. You’re right, his comments were excellent. Revealing, thoughtful and positively insightful.

I’m really not interested in watching the talk shows yet. If I turn one on, I want to be entertained, and they’re not ready to entertain yet. If anyone can find a way to entertain in the midst of this, it’s the team at The Daily Show.

Did he actually say that? Wow. I always thought Jon Stewart was just this incredibly annoying photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of Dennise Milne. I’m impressed.

No no no. Guy with the hair. Dennis….something. Damn.

    Miller?

Wise-cracking commentator on Monday Night Football (annotated the day after on ESPN.com) and host of his own show on HBO? =)
