Miss Anthropy asked God to eject Josh Gracin from “American Idol,” and she got her wish. I would never be so bold, but I sure hope Clay “If Strawberry Shortcake and KD Lang Mated” Aiken gets the boot tonight. That spiky hair and those fluttery eyelids are driving me mad. His “Vincent” ruined a beautiful song, and his “Mack the Knife” was embarrassing.
I want Ruben and Kimberley for the final two. Please.

Clay’s Unchained Melody just made me angry. I thought it was impossible to ruin that song, but he did it. I pray for Clay’s demise.
A while back Simon said something like “You’re a Broadway star, not a pop star” to Clay, and I thought that hit the nail on the head. He has a nice voice but he overdoes it tremendously and is vaguely frightening to watch up close. He’d be perfect to watch from the balcony, though. It’s time for Clay to go.
