Should it be considered odd that the thing I hate most about Michael Savage’s web site is the stupid flag, star and eagle repeating background that obscures the text? Even more than the hateful spewage that sits on top of it? I am such a web geek.

Ugh, that site is hideous.
there are many bloggers I don’t read for the same reason – tiny typeface, FAB-u-lous background images that make reading impossible, etc…. but actually LINKING to this man??? ewwww!
I know. I didn’t want to link to him either. But I needed to to make the point.
That’s one shitty page. I’m kind of glad, though, because he’s a fucktard and shouldn’t have a nice one.
Everyone should have a nice site. The layout should be clean enough to let the text should speak for itself. Sadly, many radio sites are horrible. I don’t know why that is.
He knows his audience — the “Forward this American Angel Blessing to all your friends!!!!!1!!!” crowd — who can have him, as far as I’m concerned. America’s receptivity to reactionary demagogues has been steadily growing for decades. Mr. Savage is just riding the gravy train while it lasts. Which won’t be long.
