This is kind of petty — the differences between these two guys amount to almost nothing next to the differences between either of them and Kerry or Edwards, or to the differences between those two and Gephardt or Lieberman. And all those differences are dwarfed by the differences between any Democrat and Bush.
Kucinich strikes me as one of those assholes I try to avoid in real life. His theoretical saving grace is that he’s honest and a straight talker…so, of course, the first thing he did before running for president is do a 180 on abortion. Granted, it was in the right direction, but someone unprincipled enough to change his position on such an important issue for political reasons can’t claim to have any sort of moral authority. (I don’t think the rest of the pack does either, but none of them seriously pretend to.)
