Memo to Bill O’Reilly
UPDATE: Even though they’ve finally admitted there are no WMDs in Iraq, they still want $600 million to keep searching. Isn’t that like giving money to the “Help O.J. Find The Real Killers Fund”?

Well, dammit, he’ll find the things if he has to import them from China and hide them in the sand himself!
It would be cheaper if they could just sort of Photoshop some bomb photos with Saddam standing on them or something, wouldn’t it?
i think you read the story wrong – they didn’t “admit” there are no WMD’s – they say they haven’t found any (yet). And there are serious problems with the way they’ve been looking – like freaking out IRAQIs with the potential to help. But i know what you mean. Funny thing, i was actually worried that they might find some, but since they chased out the U.N. inspectors, we would have no credibility that they were actually “found” rather than the U S putting them there once the U S took control of the country.
At this point, if they haven’t found them what’s the point of continuing to look? Saddam’s not going to use them, and if they exist, they’re obviously out of reach enough that 1200 professionals in 5,6 months, (not counting all the previous inspections) can’t find them so I’d say it’s kinda moot. The ‘immediate threat’ has been neutralized, let the new Iraqi govt look for them.
yeah, good point. I think a new Iraqi govt, along with the U.N. should continue with the search, and get rid ofwhatever may still be around. Given that there are clearly factions that don’t get along, and we know that at least some of these types of weapon existed at some point in their country, it’s a good idea to minimize any risk.
There’s a report they FOUND something. Haven’t looked at it yet, just skimmed the headlines. Still not sure I believe it.
