Can you tell I like Patty Griffin? 🙂 Her songs have such resonance for me, for many reasons. I feel like she came along just when I needed her.

really? i have a tendency to not listen carefully to some of her lyrics and to just react impressionistically, as one has to do more commonly with Tori Amos. To me this album is the quintessential angry break up song collection, and boy did it get me though one of those once.
you ever noticed the faint sound of police sirens during Let Him Fly? I know I’m not the only person who turned patty off while driving a few times before realizing it was coming from the tape.
