I swear I’ll stop talking about Dean at some point

I know money is not votes. I know the Dean campaign still has a huge mountain to climb, and right now they’re at the bottom. But in a single day, they raised more than $700,000 to air ads in Wisconsin. That’s spectacular.

If Dean doesn’t win Wisconsin, he himself said he would be out of the race. Considering how badly things are going for Bush these days, I think any of the remaining Dems could beat Bush. So I think it’s time for us to vote for who we think would make the best president. And for me, that’s Dean hands-down.

Go Dean.

well, i wont bother with why clark or edwards wouldnt beat Bush – but there might be a chance with manly man Kerry. The only good reason for Dean to stay in the race is just in case Kerry screws up. Dean says he’ll be through if he doesnt do well in Wisconsin – i think it will be after next Tuesday’s primaries in Virginia in Kentucky. If Kerry does well in these 2 states, he’s more or less wiped out Clark and Edwards – AND Dean still won’t have gotten many votes anywhere – raising that 40 million didnt seem to pay off, I don’t see why raising 700 grand just to get a win in Wisconsin, considered liberal or progressive or whatever you want to call it won’t seem like much of an achievement for the perceived-to-be-most liberal candidate ( I realize he isn’t but the perception is out there, and its strong). It is terribly sad to me that he is out so soon into this – as we are not getting issues discussed, merely the “horse race” – which is really what the big guys in the Democratic Party want – no divisions, get this primary thing over with fast, and Beat Bush.
