My condo association fee is $150/mo. For that we get crappy snow removal in the winter, and cleaning of the common hallways. That’s it. (Did I ever tell you about the time that I fell under my car after it got stuck in what I affectionately call the “bobsled run” at the mouth of the parking lot? Yeah.) The washing machines and dryers in the subterranean laundry room are $1.25 a go. We have no clubhouse, no workout center, none of that. For those of you out there living in condos, doesn’t that sound high? Just wondering.

Jesus crap, sir. Yes, that sounds high, and I don’t live in a condo. For that kind of scrip you should be getting a workout center and all. Cost of living may be high where you are, but damn, no way could it be quite that high. Does your condo association have meetings and such? You oughta request a detailed breakdown of where every dollar goes. If a disproportionate amount seems to be going to people’s salaries, well . . . that wouldn’t surprise me.
No pool? No jacuzzi? Does the office at least accept packages for you?
No, because there is no office. At least, not one at the building.
