In lighter news…
Flipping through the channels last night, I caught a piece on “60 Minutes II” about “Finding Nemo,” which opens tomorrow. Just watching the rough animation of Ellen DeGeneres’ character, the short-term-memory-challenged Dory, made me laugh out loud. And boy do I need that.
The underwater imagery looks fantastic. And the cast is great: DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Allison Janney, Brad Garrett, Vicki Lewis. I’m there.
Totally! I saw the piece on 60 minutes…really makes me love my current job! How fun must it be to work at Pixar. I can only imagine. At least WE get to enjoy all the hard work, passion and fun they put into their creation.
Also, I’ve read a few comments from people who’ve bought the Xbox game, and have said that it’s pretty fun, especially if people have kids or are looking for a family game. I don’t have kids, but since I still am one I’m thinking about picking it up. Having an Xbox, you have to take advantage of any rare, but enjoyable kid/family game that comes along. 😉
It’s juvenile, I know, but when I heard Ellen was playing a fish the first thought that crossed my mind was, “You are what you…” Well, you get it. Like I said, I KNOW it’s juvenile.
What I thought was funny about that 60 Minutes II was the description TV guide had for it. Roughly: “Pixar’s new film Finding Nemo; Female suicide bombers.”
Why is it 60 minutes II? I never understood that…
