This is a humorous take on the classic, “Can god make a stone so big even He can’t lift it”. If God can’t, i.e. God can lift any stone God has created, then there’s something God can’t do and aha! we’ve gotcha now, God! If on the other hand it is possible for God to make such a stone, then God is not omnipitent for the same reason: here’s something God can’t do.
I tend to dissagree with the logic. The core of the whole argument is to put reasonable limits on God. Once you limit God it’s easy to say everything is outside of God’s limits. God isn’t limited by any measure the human mind could comprehend. I’ll betcha one of the classic streets of Heaven magic tricks is where God pulls this one off in a way that both defys and prooves the human logic in the argument. Remember that as far as the heavens are above the earth, so are Gods ways over our ways.

In response to Phillip: If God is limitless is His powers (beyond our comprehension), how can we comprehend that His limts (if any) are beyond our comprehension?

Wow, what great timing for this post. I just started reading a book, “Your God Is Too Small” by J.B. Phillips, dealing with this very issue.

I THINK HE COULD, AS LONG AS HE DOESN’T HAVE A PACEMAKER.

In response to Rob (just so we can get a healthy little `You’re wrong’ exchange going here): Why should we be unable to comprehend the *existence* (not the nature) of things beyond our comprehension? That is, why should your question be paradoxical (as I presume you were suggesting)?
As an atheist, I sort of like Phillip’s response, although the idea of a God who `defys and prooves’ human logic is a little disturbing.

You can blame ‘prooves’ on my big fat fingers.
