Back from the beyond

I’m a proofreader – I can’t help it.

“Already this year, Ann Coulter’s ‘Slander’ and Michael Moore’s ‘Stupid White Men’ have been runaway No. 1 bestsellers, proving that ink on paper is one full-proof way to break out as a partisan pundit.”

-from a Salon article on conservative pundit Sean Hannity

I’m glad they mentioned complete raving idiots who distort fact for their own purposes from both sides of the fence, at least.

It just means that The Refreshments were right when they said “Everybody knows/that the world is full of stupid people.”

Also on the bestsellers list was Tim LeHaye’s latest apocolyptic drivel. Makes you want to run off and live in a compound in Antigua, doesn’t it?

    Mmmmmm…..Antigua.

Biblically speaking, even Antigua would not be safe. Or did you mean run to Antigua to escape the best seller list?

It was more or less an attempt to escape the inanity and idiocy one witnesses on a daily basis throughout one’s life. I was going to say, “a compound in Idaho,” as that seems to be the compound capital of the world, but Antigua seemed far more enjoyable.
