After the movie, Part II:
We were leaving an opening-night screening of “The Blair Witch Project,” which I personally found intriguing and creepy. The minute we got outside, still surrounded by people going in for the next show, my friend Elizabeth practically shouted, “I’m so glad that *bitch* got killed!”
That sounds like the time when I was in the office with a bunch of people who had just all seen “Sixth Sense” and I hadn’t (the movie had just come out). And they were all being really careful to try, to *try* to avoid spoiling the movie for me. My boss said she didn’t care for the film, and then when asked why, she said, “Oh, I knew all along he was dead!” Her face .05 seconds after that was one of those Priceless Moments. I was truly sorry I did not have a camera.
