Watched Fox’s “24” for the first time tonight (yes, I’m woefully behind the times with pop culture these days). I thought it was pretty much a standard action series, with way too many portentous looks and pounding music at every turn. Maybe I just missed my chance to enjoy it, since 12 “hours” have already gone by in the story. But does it strike anyone else that Kiefer Sutherland’s wife seems more the age of his mother, and his daughter more like his girlfriend? Just wondering.

I’m addicted to 24 – I’m watching it now. I love the plot twists. I love the cliffhangers. I love how they put the characters in impossible situations, and as soon as they get out of it, another impossible situation comes along.
I do wonder, though. After the whole story unfolds, how much resonance will the series have? Will it fall flat, like Twin Peaks did after everything was revealed? Or will I enjoy watching it over and over?
His daughteron the show is hot hot hot. Did I mention she is hot?
Being hot doesn’t work too well when you’re so impetuous that you continually give your family’s location away to gun-toting lunatics.
