With the demise of “Top Ten Blog,” I would love to start a popular and fun group blog. But I need some ideas. I think a group blog should have a strong concept behind it, an interesting focus and point of view. Any brainstorms out there?

A variation on the Captions Blog: You can post an interesting picture and then everyone tries to write a very, very short story that seems to suit the picture. It could be serious or funny.
I run a picture for captioning every week or so on my blog and let me tell you, it’s a beast finding appropriate or inspiring pictures!
So lessee, there are dream blogs aplenty, my husband has just started a hooker/flasher watch on his blog…hey, there’s always haiku! 🙂
You could have a Mutating Blog: you can do haiku, captions, dreams, top ten lists, or whatever subject and then just change it whenever it becomes dull.
You could have a page where you give the caption, then people have to find a funny photo to go with it. Make them do the work 🙂
Oh, Adam! you have made my day 🙂
This was the first time I ever saw your link to me in the sidebar. I’ve gone all lump-in-the-throatie!
Sorry, I am all out of inspiration, but I will let you know if I have any eureka moments.
