“One senior official called it a bunch of bull, but confirmed it is the concept on which the war plan is based.”
This sounds frighteningly similar to my opinion of the Executive branch of our current government.
Of course, they could also play Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries” for added effect. They watch movies, don’t they?
____________

That’ll teach those impoverished, starving subjects of a totalitarian government! Stick it to those peasants!
What the hell is the National Defense University, and how many of their faculty have had experience in a real war? Dubya’s draft-dodging cronies seem to have an astonishing amount of confidence in themselves. Kind of like Ronald Reagan, who seemed to think he fought in WWII because he was in war movies. I think Adam said a long time ago — the Emperor has no clothes.
It’s not like they aren’t aware of CBS news over there. It won’t be a surprise.
Nice of them to evoke Hiroshima.
My favorite part is the bit near the end about how surprised the U.S. was by al Qaeda’s willingness to fight.
