Right now, the smallest number of comments on a post on Wil Wheaton’s weblog front page is 41.

Forty-one.

(And no, I’m not going to link to him. You already know the URL. And anyway, this parody of Wil’s deathless prose is more entertaining.)

I’ve linked to Wil before, but the fact that he swept all blogging awards this year and that the comments on his site are super lame are both kind of turn offs for me. We should be in our own little self-congratulatory loop and to hell with mister 400 comments! 🙂 The parody is hysterical!

Aaaaah! To be an a-lister and enjoy the bounty of comments.

  3. Miguel

Right on, Adam. I know just how you feel, man.

you want QUALITY or QUANTITY of comments?
oops, this one’s lame, so I guess I’m just adding Quantity to yours….

  5. Mad Bull

I have noticed a certain paucity of comments on my site. Sometimes I feel I shouldn’t have bothered to put up comments in the first place. But then, I’ll just be looking around on my site and lo and behold, someones posted something. 🙂
Anyway, it doesn’t make sense worrying about it. I could compare myself to Bill Gates too with regard to how much money I have, or to Pierce Brosnan with regards to looks (hmmm, I’ve got a chance there :b) or even to Dubya for the amount of power I wield. I would come off unfavourably in all those comparisons. I guess the answer is to enjoy your own accomplishments. Guess what? Currently you’re getting a lot more comments than me, man. Enjoy your successes.
