Xkot created a new entry page for his forum, outlining some basic common sense rules of conduct for his online community. It’s an eloquent and beautifully simple document about how to act online (and in real life, for that matter). Go there now. As the inimitable George Costanza once said, “We’re living in a society!”

in·im·i·ta·ble
adj.
Defying imitation; matchless.

I love his “show me the door” link (metafilter) — how perfect. Just…perfect.
Thanks you guys/gals… the whole online community thing is such a strange life form. Of course, it’s just humanity through a filter. Humans. What a race.
I do need to give Mr. Blust some credit – when I wrote that, I had the name of his page, words mean things, on my mind. He’s right. Words mean very, very much.
