Quizzes

It’s well-known that I despise online quizzes. But once in a while, when it intrigues me, I take one. (Contradictions are part of my charm.) Like the “Which circle of Hell will you go to?” one John talked about. (I’m apparently going to the third circle, for the Gluttonous.)

Then, courtesy of Xkot, I came across the “Which Homer Simpson advice quote are you?” quiz. My love of the Simpsons trumped my hatred of quizzes, so I took it and got this:

———–
“Let that be a lesson to you sweetie. Never love anyone.”

You hate people. A lot. You probably once loved someone, but something went wrong. Because of that, you now despise pretty much anyone and everyone. But while there are a ton of worthless assholes in the world, not everyone is one. There are people out there who do care.

“Kids, you’ve tried your best and failed miserably. The lesson is, never try.”
You used to have a goal, a dream. But somewhere along the way, you failed at acheiving this. Now, you don’t even try anymore. You’ve most likely given up on things you once loved. While this attitude can prevent failure from occuring, it doesn’t help you acheive your dreams either. Realize that all dreams aren’t impossible, and that life is what you make of it.

I don’t think this one was on the list: “If something’s too hard, just give up.”

I’m: “Lisa, if you don’t like your job, you don’t strike. You just go in every day and do it really half-assed. That’s the American way!” Yeah! One of their funner quizzes.

And I’ll be in the 2nd level of Hell.

I’ll be joining you in the third circle, Adam. I’ll bring the cheesecake.

And if you don’t like cheesecake, I’ll be in the perfect place to eat it all myself.
