At breakfast today at Lazy Jane’s, I told John and Marty that I had spent a good chunk of last night watching Lindsay Wagner in “Scruples” on the WE channel. They both reared back a little, as if I had said something like, “My freezer is getting so full of the body parts of transients, I barely have any space left.”
The fact is, “Scruples” is a damn entertaining program that I had pretty much forgotten existed. It’s like “Dynasty” on crack, in mini-series form.
“Scruples?” Based on the Judith Krantz novel? Yummy, yummy. Pass the popcorn, baby – call me next time you watch it.
Of course, you know that none of her other novels can hold a candle to “Princess Daisy.” Everything in life can be related to “Princess Daisy” – just ask Paul about this one.
The rearing back part, as I remember it, wasn’t caused by your mention of “Scruples” but by your mention of the WE — Women’s Entertainment — channel. The mention of “Scruples”, I think, caused the openly-mocking laughter that you don’t mention above :).
Hell, I used to go get high and attend Dynasty parties. I’m no one to judge. But I’ll still laugh.
you can never get that time back, Adam!
