Shepherd’s pie

Tonight I made chicken shepherd’s pie for dinner. Damn it was good. Chicken, bacon and onions on the bottom, mashed potatoes, swiss cheese and sour cream on the top. Put it all under the broiler until it’s brown and bubbling. I’d invite you over for leftovers, but there’s not much left. I’ll make more next time.

    Seems like everything you make always turns out well. You should cook more often.

    Heh. Well, I don’t write about the stuff that *doesn’t* turn out. Like when I tried to brown chicken breasts on top of the stove in a ceramic baking dish, and the dish shattered, leaving chunks of red-hot ceramic all over the kitchen. That sort of thing.
