At John’s urging, I’ve added a new little feature to the comments here. When you’re making a comment, there’s now a checkbox at the bottom that says “notify me when a comment is added to this post.” What that does is e-mail you in the future when comments are added, so you can “subscribe” to discussions you’re interested in following. I think it works, but try it out and see.

Just testing the “notify” system.
Okay, kids, let’s take this baby out for a spin! No fair! I had to go to the dentist and get my molar ground down to a tiny Montana butte, and you got a headstart! More back-endy goodness to follow . . .
How can you cry about fairness when you’re going to have a mouthful of bling?
Maybe it shouldn’t notify you of your own initial comment.
… back-endy goodness …mouthful of bling …
Yeah, it’s all good. Peace-izzle to tha hizzle, dig.
____________
I go now.
Sparky: I think I fixed that. Now it checks, and it shouldn’t send you an e-mail on your own comments, first time or any time. Which is how it should work, I think. After all, you know when you’re making a comment, right? 🙂

Can it notify me without publishing my email in the comments themselves? You know, for the spam-phobic paranoids out there like me.
